What Is Integrated Treatment?
A fully integrated treatment program actively combines SUD (substance use disorder) and mental illness interventions to treat addictions, mental disorders, related problems, and the whole person more effectively. An integrated program must be able to address COD’s (co-occurring disorders) and provide specific services for both to successfully achieve dual recovery.

Yes, Peaks Recovery has our own Medical Detox. Our detox facility provides a seamless transition into treatment.
Peaks Recovery Centers can provide a safe social detox setting for individuals with minor relapses or use. For individuals who have been consistently using and for long periods of time, a medical detox setting is required prior to admission into Peaks Recovery. Heavy users of alcohol and prescription benzodiazepines are at the highest risk and need a medical detox setting due to complications associated with detoxing of those drugs. Whether your loved one’s first step is at Peaks Recovery or is in need of a medical detox setting first, Peaks Recovery can support the entire process and we work with many trusted medical detox facilities across the state and country to ensure your loved one experiences a safe and comfortable detox.
Getting To Know You
At Peaks, we know that addiction treatment is an investment into your, or a loved one’s, health, and life. That is why our admissions team is here to help guide you towards the facility that best suits your needs. We will need to gather some personal information which may include:
Current/Past substance abuse
Mental health
Current situation and environment
Needed medical history
We encourage all individuals within treatment to not use nicotine and have stringent rules about not smoking inside buildings and respecting the areas in communities where smoking is allowed.
Yes, we provide courtesy client pick up for clients who may be coming into Colorado Springs airport, or Denver airport (DIA).
And of course, transportation during treatment to necessary meetings, doctor appointments are also covered.
